Arturo Aguilar
CEO and Partner
Has more than 24 years of experience in consumer finance. He founded Auto One Acceptance, LLC 2011, a Texas-regulated consumer lender for Hispanic subprime auto customers. Through Auto One Acceptance, LLC, he has purchased and serviced close to $100 MM in auto notes and advised dealers on operations and finance in over $170 MM. Mr. Aguilar has ample experience and networking in the independent Auto Dealer segment in Texas. Before Auto One Acceptance, LLC, he founded and led the expansion of a micro-loan (pawn broking) operation in Mexico with over 200 locations and 250,000+ customers and sold it to Cash America (NYSE: CSH) for over $100 MM in 2009. He has also worked for McKinsey & Co., a management consulting firm. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from UIA and two degrees from Harvard University (MBA and MPA).
MARIO DEL OLMO
VP Operations
Has overseen operations for 14 years, giving him incomparable experience along with his skills for the organization and execution of operations. He joined Auto One Acceptance, LLC more than 10 years ago. Thanks to his great skills, we have been able to get top clients in recent years as well as being able to have operations in Mexico City and in the United States. His main function in the company is to ensure that the offices meet all the requirements and needs requested.
Carlos Santa Cruz
Loan Servicing Supervisor
With over four years of experience at Auto One Acceptance, he has developed a deep understanding of portfolio management and client service. He combines his background in marketing with solid experience in client relations, team leadership, and operational strategy. His focus is on optimizing performance across portfolios, ensuring high service quality, and strengthening partnerships with the dealerships we serve.
Norma Camargo
Controller Manager
Has experience managing company treasury, she is responsible for accounts payable, control, and analysis for more than 5 years. She joined Auto One Acceptance, LLC in 2014 in the accounting department. Norma oversees planning, budgeting, and managing Auto One Acceptance, LLC accounts. She has had previous experience at Cash America and Empeños Mexicanos as FP&A. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from UNAM and a master’s degree in finance from London University.
Angel Mier
VP Analytics
Has managed databases and analytics for more than 9 years. He joined Auto One Acceptance, LLC in 2015, where he led and developed integrative predictive risk models, standardized proforma models for investors, and automated reporting for outside financing sources. He participated in two fintech efforts both in systems integration and risk modeling, and has experience preparing models and data sets for hedge fund investors. Mr. Mier Holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Studies from U.M. (Mexico).
